Yamaha MX88

I’m using this keyboard primarily for solo gigs. It is easy to carry, sounds great and features the one-touch transpose button which I use to experiment singing songs in different keys. I can plug it directly into my MacBook Pro with a USB cable and record anywhere (No need for an audio interface). I love the weighted keys which have a high quality feel to them.The MX88 has more than enough sounds for any gig. It would be nice to be able to load sounds but there are plenty to choose from. I prefer moving sliders over turning knobs but I rarely use that function so it’s not that big a deal. Overall the keyboard is great and i use it a lot. I now keep the Motif XF8 in my recording studio and take the MX88 to gigs.
